Fulfilment complete and Voth scenario

Good day Moonstone hunters,

We are very happy to say that the last pledge has been dispatched!

We've seen on various social media channels that a great many of you have your sticky mits on the goodies now and the comments on quality have been overwhelmingly positive. If your parcel is yet to arrive then don't worry, it should be with you very soon. With international postage being as it is, please allow a further three weeks and then if you've still not received anything contact us at [email protected] so that we can investigate.

In other news, we have finalised the special story scenario which was designed around the Voth and Homunculus miniatures available during this campaign. You can get the scenario on the Moonstone website downloads page. Don't forget you can also use Voth and Homunculus in normal friendly games, alongside any faction, with the pair together taking the place of three regular Moonstone characters.

Tournaments and Events

It seems that new Moonstone tournaments and Learn to Play events are springing up all around the UK at the moment: Next Sunday, 13 March is a beginner-friendly Learn to Play going by the name of March Moonstone Hunt!!, hosted by Pro Tech Games in Stockton-on-Tees. Brother Daniel's slightly mad Moonstone tournament is coming to the Games Table in Norwich on 16 April, and Mayhem & Mischief 3, Revenge of the Fritz - Moonstone Tournament is due at Bristol Independent Gaming on 21 May (initially planned for 16 people, but sold out within 6 hours, it has now been expanded to 32 seats!). And this is to name just a few, so apologies if an event you are running or attending isn't listed. The EU eagle has landed!

Good day moonstone hunters,

For the past 5 weeks, we at Goblin King Games have been playing "Brexit Export: The game of secret codes and paperwork puzzles!" Unfortunately, our copy came without a rulebook; and to make matters worse, we got the brand new edition (1st Jan release) which no-one has played before. But, after a great deal of headaches, we eventually worked it out. It seems the new game designers have greatly increased the duration of play, introducing some clunky and contradictory rules, and no obvious way to win. Player's Verdict: 1/5 Stars.

So it's with great pleasure, we can at last say that the goods have cleared customs and arrived safely at the fulfilment agent in Germany this morning. The pallets need to be unpacked and some other prep work, which may take a few days, but we should start to see European orders arriving very soon now. And of course the reason we did it this way was so that European backers will not have to pay any taxes or duties to receive their pledges, as promised.

Non EU Fulfilment Progress 

• All UK and Rest of World orders that do not include Dominion Tokens have now been sent. 
• 90% of USA and Canada orders that do not include Dominion Tokens have now been sent.

Dominion Tokens

Production of the Dominion Tokens is complete and they are currently making their way in two parcels expected to arrive next Tuesday 15th at two locations: Here in the UK, and also our German fulfilment agent. 

Other news

The special scenario featuring Voth & Homunculus is going through the final phases of play testing, narrative editing and art creation. We can't wait to share it with you all! We will also be doing the Sergio Calvo Diana Enraged raffle draw very soon, so in addition to fulfilment news, we should have some other exciting reveals to make in the next update.

Fulfilment Update

Good day moonstone hunters!

This is just a quick update to say that fulfilment is ongoing and a big thank you for your patience. We did allow ourselves a week off for Christmas but are back to a 7-day a week schedule again until the last order is out of the door. It's really rewarding when we see backers posting that their pledge has arrived and we've had great feedback on the quality of the items so thats been a great feeling. 

We do however realise it can be very frustrating seeing other backers with their goodies if yours hasn't arrived yet. Please don't be too alarmed if this is you. The fulfilment process is very labour intensive,  and the more hours of the day we can spend at the dispatch desk rather than at the computer the better for everyone still waiting. The status of your order does depend on a few factors including your backer number (lower numbers are being handled first), your region (more details per region below) and whether your order includes any items that were delayed in delivery to us, such as the premium acrylic tokens or glow in the dark dice.

There is now just one item that unfortunately we are still yet to receive from the manufacturer and that is the Dominion faction premium token set. Unfortunately the manufacturer was stuck by illness causing a significant delay to this item but the Commonwealth and Leshavut token sheets that were delivered look absolutely fantastic and it shouldn't be too much longer for completion of the Dominion tokens. 

We are trying very hard to get all orders dispatched by the end of this month. It's looking more likely that we wont quite hit this target for all backers in all regions now, with the delay to the Dominion tokens being a factor, but we are doing our very best to get the vast majority of orders out by this date. 

Regional info:

North America - When we wrote our last update we were planning to surface ship a bulk order into the USA for onbound mailing. However due to the time that the surface shipment would take to arrive we reversed that decision and have begun fulfilling from the UK. Around 1/4 of North American orders have now been sent and we expect all orders that don't include the Dominion tokens to be dispatched before the end of the month. Delays at customs can occur so it may still take a few weeks from dispatch to delivery.

European Union - A bulk shipment is on its way to our fulfilment agent in Germany who are prepped to begin work as soon as the pallets arrive. Although this means a slow start for Europe, our continental fulfilment agent has significantly more manpower available to process far more parcels per day than we can and European orders should begin to arrive with backers throughout the last week of January and the first weeks of February.

UK and Rest of the World – The majority of UK and ROW orders have been dispatched already and we expect that all orders that don't include the Dominion tokens will be dispatched before he end of the month.

Fulfilment has begun in UK and 'Rest of World' regions

Good day moonstone hunters,

The festive season of Grimblesnacht is upon us, a joyous time of giving and receiving gifts! And just maybe, a few lucky boys and girls reading this today will be visited by Ol' Grimblesnacht himself on a cold winter's night, bearing gifts of Moonstone goodies!

Yesterday we received The Arising hardback books and managed to get the first dozen orders out of the door - just making our November target to begin fulfilment by the skin of our teeth!

As well as The Arising book, we also have all of the miniatures packaged and ready for dispatch. This includes both the Kickstarter exclusive miniatures, and the box sets from our main catalogue.

Fulfilment Centres

We are fulfilling UK and "Rest of the World" orders directly ourselves from our new UK facility and so these are the regions we were able to begin immediately yesterday. For the EU and North America we plan to bulk ship to local fulfilment agents. This approach allows us to spread the workload with simultaneous processing, and no import tax concerns for our EU customers.

Outstanding items

Today or tomorrow we expect to receive the Campaign Card Decks and Neoprene Sidebars. Unfortunately it will be a further 2-3 weeks until we receive the Glow in the Dark Dice, Wooded Patch Tokens and Commonwealth and Leshavult Premium Tokens. The Dominion Premium token sheets will be the final item to be delivered and I'm sorry to say, orders containing that item will likely be delayed until the start of the new year. Where possible we will have these delayed items sent directly to local fulfilment agents so the impact on delivery times in those regions shouldn't be noticeably affected.
